Recently, Helishi successfully signed a contract for the Shaoxing Keqiao annual production of 120000 tons of PAN based carbon fiber precursor project, jointly invested by Baowu Group and Wanhua Group.

On March 28, 2022, the Zhejiang Baowan Shaoxing Keqiao Raw Silk Project officially started construction, with a total investment of 6.55 billion yuan and a total land area of about 760 acres. The project will construct 12 polymerization production lines and 24 spinning production lines, forming an annual production capacity of 120000 tons of PAN based carbon fiber raw silk. It will break the technological monopoly in the field of high-quality carbon fiber raw silk and carbon fiber at home and abroad, and achieve domestic substitution.

The product of this project is PAN based carbon fiber precursor, which is a key raw material for carbon fibers. Carbon fiber, as a special fiber, is known as the “king of new materials” and “black gold of the 21st century”. After being prepared into carbon fiber composite materials, it is widely used in aerospace, new energy, sports and leisure, transportation, pressure vessels and other fields; Carbon fiber wind power, new energy vehicles, hydrogen storage and other fields have broad application scenarios, and the construction of projects is conducive to promoting
