Karl Kletzmaier, co-founder and chairman of the supervisory board of KEBA, was awarded the Ring of Honor of the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences for his many years of service as chairman of the Research & Development Advisory Board of the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences.

In his role, he supported the management in the strategic orientation of its activities for 10 years, thus providing the basis for its success and further growth. Networking with other universities and research institutions as well as the establishment or expansion of strong contacts in the national economy were also advanced during his chairmanship. His entrepreneurial expertise and broad experience, which he continuously contributed and from which many researchers at the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences could benefit, were also highly appreciated.

With the highest award, the Ring of Honor, the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences honors the extraordinary commitment and dedication of Karl Kletzmaier and thanks as well for his wide-ranging support, which has contributed significantly to the further development and success of research and development of the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences, emphasized Markus Achleitner, member of the Upper Austrian Government, and Gerald Reisinger, President of the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences, during the award ceremony.
