  Product Description

The IS220PVIBH1A model is designed as a vibration monitoring package. The main function of the PVIB package is to provide electrical interface functionality between up to two I/O Ethernet and vibration terminal boards. The main components of this package are the main processor board, as well as sub boards and acquisition boards, which are used in conjunction with most MK VIe distributed I/O packages.

  This kit has 13 channels for collecting and reading proximity and vibration information through the following types of sensors:

Earthquake

Proximitor

Accelerometer

The sensor type is used for different channels, for example, the accelerometer is only used for channels one, two, and three. Please note that channels 9, 10, 11, and 12 can only be used to support proxies, while channel 13 can input proximity or keyphase signal types. Please note that the 13 differential inputs on the IS220PVIBH1A kit have a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) for bias adjustment, which can eliminate the DC content of the signal and better center the A/D (Analog to Digital) input range.IS220PSVOH1B(1)

The PVIB I/O package has processor application code, which may contain all the logical code required to allow the package to operate through single or dual Ethernet inputs. When operating through two Ethernet inputs, the network path required to correctly operate the IS220PVIBH1A packet is always active. If any network fails for any reason, it will not cause any type of interference to the operation of I/O packets, but will indicate the fault through the running network connection.

IS220PVIBH1A is a vibration monitor (PVIB) package developed by GE under the Mark VIe control system. The Vibration Monitor (PVIB) package electrically connects one or two I/O Ethernet ports to the TVBA vibration terminal board. This package includes a processor board, a collection board, and a sub board, all of which are common to all Mark VIe distributed I/O packages.

This package uses channels 1 to 8 to read vibration or proximity information from the following sensor types: preamplifiers, integrated output accelerometers (channels 1-3 only), Velomitors, or seismic channels 9 to 12 only support preamplifiers, while channel 13 can input keyphase or proximity signal types.

Dual RJ45 Ethernet ports and 3-pin power input are used to power the battery pack. For frame rates below 100 Hz, PVIB supports dual Ethernet. It supports frame rates of 3.125, 6.25, 12.5, 25, 50, and 100 Hz through Ethernet.

Connect the DC-37 pin connector directly to the matching terminal board connector for output. LED indicator lights are used to display visual diagnosis.

Follow the steps to install the package

Fix the terminal board you want to use.

Connect the PVIB I/O package directly to the terminal board connector.

Use bolts near the Ethernet port to mechanically secure the battery pack.

According to the system configuration, connect one or two Ethernet cables. This package can be used with any port. When using dual connections, ENET1 should be connected to the network connected to the R controller.

Insert the side connector and connect the battery pack to the power source.

Use the ToolboxST * application to configure I/O packages as needed.

Check if the N28 power sub board on the TVBA is properly placed in the TVBA connector.

  Processor

The processor board is connected to a collection board suitable for the purpose of I/O packages or modules. When input power is applied, the soft start circuit will increase the available voltage on the processor board. The processor reset has been removed, and the local power supply is turned on in sequence.   Automatic reconfiguration

The automatic reconfiguration function allows operators to exchange I/O packets without manually reconfiguring each packet or module.

After activating the automatic reconfiguration function, when the controller detects that the I/O package is started with a different configuration, the reconfiguration file will be automatically downloaded from the controller to the I/O package.

  Vibration monitoring hardware

The Analog Filter Acquisition Board (BAFA) and Analog Processing Sub Board form the PVIB Application Specific Hardware (KAPA).

The signal conditioning is provided by the analog filter acquisition board, which concentrates and amplifies the signal to improve the analog-to-digital resolution.

  Firmware for vibration monitoring applications

Position data from the preamplifier, broadband vibration data from the preamplifier, accelerometers with integrated output, tachometers, and seismometers can all be used on channels 1 to 3. The position information from the preamplifier, broadband vibration information from the preamplifier, tachometer, and seismometer can all be found at the following locations: channels 4 to 8. Only location information is broadcasted on channels 9-12. Channel 13 supports both position feedback and keyphase feedback.
