Description
The model IS200VTCCH1CBB is one of the Mark VI boards produced by General Electric. This model is designated as a thermocouple input and can accept up to 24 thermocouple inputs. The input of this model can be connected to the DTTC or TBTC terminal board. The TBTC terminal board is a matching terminal board, while the DTTC terminal board is a DIN European size terminal board. According to the TBTC model used in conjunction with the VTCC model, it can be used for two different groups. The TBTCH1C model allows for single control, while the TBTCH1B model allows for Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) control. There are also two sets of VTCC models; The IS200VTCCH1CBB model belongs to the first group, indicating that it can be used for gas turbine control applications. Regardless of which group the VTCC model is used for, the same terminal board will be used.
When the IS200VTCCH1CBB model is running in the TMR system, if one of the signals on the device changes beyond the predetermined limit with the median/voting value, the signal will be identified and cause a fault. For more information on fault indications and available diagnostic checks for VTCC models, refer to GE manual GEH-6421.
The IS200VTCCH1CBB model can be used in a temperature range of 0 to 70 degrees Celsius or 32 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit; When the model is used within these temperature ranges, each thermocouple can operate within the range of -8.0 mV to+45.0 mV. Each input has a dedicated mV at both the highest and lowest temperatures. For these values, please refer to the GEH-6421 manual on page 390.
Frequently asked questions about IS200VTCCH1CBB
What is the IS200VTCCH1CBB model? What is the function of this device?
The IS200VTCCH1CBB model is marked as a thermocouple input board. It can accept up to 24 thermocouple inputs and can operate in simplex or triple modular redundant systems, depending on the TBCI board connected. The thermocouple input on the board can be grounded or ungrounded. The linearization function on the board can be used together with individual thermocouples; The linearization function will be executed by the software used for VTCC and Mark VI models. If any thermocouple is found to exceed the specified hardware limit, it will be removed from the scan input to prevent adverse effects on other input channels.
What is the function of the cold end on the IS200VTCCH1CBB model?
The IS200VTCCH1CBB model has two cold ends; These nodes work together with thermocouple inputs to automatically calibrate the filtered calibration reference voltage and zero voltage. It must be noted that at all times, each VTCC model will use two cold ends, and there is a connector on the front of the model that can be used for J3 and J4 connectors. You can choose to run these two references in remote or local settings.
