IS200TRLYH1B is a relay output terminal board developed by GE under the Mark VIe series. There are 12 plug-in magnetic relays on the relay output (TRLY1B) terminal board with coil induction. The first six relay circuits can be set with jumpers to drive external solenoid or dry C-type contact outputs. For magnetic field solenoid power supply, basic 125 V DC or 115/230 V AC power supply or optional 24 V DC power supply can be provided, with personal jumper optional fuses and onboard suppression. The next five relays (7-11) are isolated C-type contacts that are not energized. Isolated C-type contacts are used on output 12 for special purposes such as ignition transformers.
IS200TRLYH1B compatibility
When using TRLY 1B, the PDOA/YDOA I/O package supports both simplex and TMR applications. The DC-37 pin connection of the wiring board accepts I/O packages as plugins. For simplex systems, connector JA1 is used, while for TMR systems, connectors JR1, JS1, and JT1 are used.
IS200TRLYH1B installation
Connect the two I/O terminal blocks on the terminal board, TRLY1B terminal board, directly to the wires of the 12 relay outputs. Each block has 24 terminals that can accommodate wires up to # 12 AWG and are secured with two screws. There is a shielded terminal block on the left side of each junction box, which is connected to the chassis ground. The solenoid power supply for outputs 1-6 should be connected to JF1. JF2 can be used to daisy chain connect the power supply to other TRLYs. Alternatively, when JF1/JF2 is not in use, the power supply can be directly connected to TB3.
Connect the output 12 of the dedicated electromagnet to connector JG1 for power supply. The factory dismantled the jumpers JP1-JP6 and shipped them in plastic bags. If the excitation solenoid needs to be energized, please reinstall the correct jumper. According to best practices, check the power supply of each circuit separately and install jumpers as needed. Remove the fuse from the isolation contact application to ensure that the power bus does not suppress leakage.
IS200TRLYH1B Operation
Dry junction
If these terminal blocks are used as dry contacts to switch AC voltage using circuits 01 to 06, and also receive 125 V DC power through JF1, JF2, or TB3, AC power will appear on the “NO” relay terminal until all fuses and jumpers are removed from the circuit. In addition, the contacts bind the AC voltage to N 125 V DC when closed.
A similar situation also applies to P-125. The sum of AC peak voltage and 125 V DC voltage is applied to the MOV connected between DC and ground, as the neutral wire of most AC power sources is grounded. In these cases, the MOV rating is sufficient to withstand 120 V AC voltage. However, the peak voltage will exceed the MOV rating in 240 V AC applications, leading to faults. Therefore, it is best to avoid using these circuits for AC switches.
Simplex
Jumpers, fuses, and relay drivers are installed on TRLY 1B. The D-type connector monitors the feedback voltage and transmits control signals between the I/O processor and TRLY1B through JA1 to achieve simplex operation. The rated current of the relay is 3.0 A and it is driven at a frame rate. 500 V ac is the maximum allowable contact voltage within one minute. Within one minute, the rated contact voltage of the coil is 1500 V AC. 10 ms is normal working time.
TMR
The relay control signals are fanned into TRLY1B through connectors JR1, JS1, and JT1 from three I/O processors R, S, and T for TMR applications. These signals are voted on to determine which relay driver receives the signal. All three I/O processors provide shared diode power for the relay coil.

diagnosis
Perform the following diagnostic procedure on the components of the terminal board:
At frame rate, the output (coil current) of each relay is monitored and compared with the command. If there is inconsistency between two consecutive checks, a latch alarm will be triggered.
If the solenoid excitation voltage drops below 12 V dc (monitored downstream of the fuse), the alarm will be locked.
If any output becomes unhealthy, a composite diagnostic alarm L3DIAG xxxx will be triggered.
When the I/O processor reads the ID chip and finds a mismatch, a hardware incompatibility fault will occur.
Monitor the contact voltage of the relay.
The configuration application contains information about each diagnostic detail. Diagnostic signals can be individually latched, and if they become healthy, reset using the RESET DIA signal.
to configure
The board of directors has adjusted as follows:
JP1 – JP12 Jumper
If contact voltage sensing is required, please insert a jumper for the selected relay.
FU1 – FU12 fuse
If it is necessary to supply power to relays 1-6, two fuses should be added to each power circuit. For example, FU1 and FU7 supply power to relay output 1.
IS200TRLYH1B Features
The left edge of the circuit board is a huge black wiring terminal. Each wiring terminal contains twenty-four silver metal terminals. There are a total of 48 terminals. On the wiring terminals, each terminal is designated as a white type. On the right side of the circuit board, there are four connector ports.
The three connector ports are vertically aligned at the edges, while the fourth connector port is parallel to the bottom connector port.
Transistors are located on both sides of each relay. A circular red MOV or metal oxide varistor is paired with each transistor. In the upper part of the circuit board, five relays are arranged vertically. At the bottom of the PCB, there are five other relays arranged.
