IC693APU301 is a single axis positioning module (APM) from the GE 90-30 series. Motion Mate APM is an easy-to-use, fully programmable intelligent motion control module. This axis positioning module is designed specifically for the 90-30 series PLC, allowing PLC users to combine high-performance control with PLC logic solving functions in a combined system. IC693APU301 can be configured as standard or follow mode according to user needs. The standard mode allows users to combine high-performance motion control with PLC logic solving functions. In addition, in the following mode, high-performance electronic transmission devices can be used for continuous master/slave applications. No matter which option the user chooses, they can easily select it through configuration settings and appropriate software.

The 90-30 series and IC693APU301 work together as an integrated control package, with APM handling all direct communication with drivers and machines. PLC automatically transfers data between the table and APM. In addition, PLC provides a method of connecting O/I to control and monitor operations within the system. This APM can be installed and used in any series of 90-30 CPUs, remote baseboards, or extensions. For embedded CPUs, up to three APM modules can be added, and for modular CPUs, up to eight can be added. In addition, multiple motion programs can be created and stored in APM using the correct software packages. Suggest using VersaPro software. The APM panel has two high-density 24 pin connectors for servo connections.
