Description
The HE693THM884 manufacturer’s discontinued thermocouple input module with 8 channels may not be applicable to the factory warranty for series 90-30 with 0.1 ° C resolution. Including APTER 1-year warranty, the Homer APG high-resolution thermocouple input module allows thermocouple temperature sensing to be directly connected to the PLC without the need for external signal processing (sensors, transmitters, etc.). All analog and digital processing of thermocouple signals is carried out on the module. Such a high-resolution module (0.1 ° C) can report value increments of 0.5 ° C, 0.5 ° F, 0.1 ° C, or 0.1 ° F to the PLC/0 table. This module has eight thermocouple channels assigned to 8% AI input registers. That is 16% | alarm bit, with one open circuit alarm and one set point alarm for each channel. The alarm set point is set for each channel through the 8% AQ register. The open circuit alarm bit of each channel corresponds to the first eight consecutive% I bits, and the alarm set point of each channel corresponds to the second eight consecutive% l bits. On THM888, a feature provided by version H or later is automatic detection of external temperature AD592 cold junction compensation. This allows for cold junction compensation in remote isothermal conditions, with standard copper wires extending from the remote terminal block to the module. The AD converter has been optimized for 60Hz suppression on THM888 hardware, and THM888 supports remote cold contact compensation. This allows the thermocouple sensor to be connected to the remote terminal block. Then, remote terminal blocks and module terminal blocks can be installed. The remote wiring board must have built-in AD592 temperature sensors or even thermal sensor characteristics in nature This module can detect the presence of external AD592 temperature sensors and perform cold junction point compensation AD592 based on remote sensors instead of onboard sensors of the module. Horner APG provides an isothermal remote wiring board (HE693ISOBLK), as detailed below. Remote wiring board (insulation block). Horner APG HE693ISOBLK is a remote wiring board that can be used on page 693 to page 888. It has an isothermal wiring board with an integrated AD592 temperature sensor. The connection between the remote wiring board and the THM888 module is through a DB25 connector. The outgoing wires for ISOBL K screw terminals, DB25 connectors, and THM888 terminal blocks are shown in the table on the right. The cable constructed by the customer connects the DB25 female connector of ISOBLK and the terminal block of THM888 module.
