Description
The Woodward 505D Digital Speed Governing Turbine Controller is an integrated graphical front panel HMI screen with a multilingual interface. The new 505D is built on the standard 505 platform and now has extended communication protocols, control algorithms, and advanced service tools. Product Description
8200-1301 is a Woodward 505 digital governor designed for split range or individual actuators. This is one of the three versions available in the series, with the other two being 8200-1300 and 8200-1302. 8200-1301 is mainly used for AC/DC (88 to 264 V AC or 90 to 150 V DC) general position compliant power supply. It is field programmable and uses menu driven software to control mechanical drive applications and/or generators. The governor can be configured as part of a DCS (Distributed Control System) or designed as an independent unit.
8200-1301 has several different normal operating modes. This includes configuration mode, operation mode, and service mode. Configuration mode will force the hardware to enter an I/O locked state and place all outputs in an inactive state. The configuration mode is usually only used during the original configuration of the device. The operating mode allows for normal operation from startup to shutdown. The service mode allows calibration and adjustment during device shutdown or normal operation.
The front panel of 8200-1301 is designed to provide multi-level access for turbine adjustment, operation, calibration, and configuration. All turbine control functions can be executed from the front panel. It includes logical algorithms that use multiple input buttons to control, stop, start, and protect the turbine.
Comments from 8200-1301
For operating environment temperatures expected to exceed 50 ° C, field wiring must use stranded copper wire with a rated temperature of at least 75 ° C. Peripheral devices must be suitable for their location of use.(https://www.weikunfadacai1.com/)
