Regarding 531X305NTBAPG1
The 531X305NTBAPG1 card was developed by General Electric and is used as an NTB/3TB terminal board. This card was originally developed as a replacement driver board for the 531X series. The members of this board series are suitable for installation in various drives of GE brand. After installation, this card can access various interface tools that are not available in the drive. Applications include serial and relay outputs, low-level analog I/O, encoders, and power supplies.
Installing NTB/3TB terminal boards can provide both regulated and non regulated power supplies. The host driver can obtain power from a regulated power supply with rated voltages of 5 VDC and 15 VDC, or a non regulated power supply with rated voltages of 24 VDC or 120 VAC. Users can configure multiple circuit board settings to meet specific load requirements. The 5V and 15V encoders can be adjusted through jumper wires on the circuit board. The circuit board also offers seven combinations of A-type and C-type relay outputs. All integrated relays include contacts with a rated voltage of 120 VAC. The card also includes four potentiometers that can be used to scale low-level analog I/O.
531X305NTBAPG1 is an NTB/3TB terminal board developed by GE under the EX2000 excitation system. The driver (or exciter) cabinet is equipped with a 531X305NTB (NTB/3TB) board. Most of the external signal level I/O connection terminals and passive interface circuits of the driver (or exciter) are located on this board. The plugs 6PL and 8PL on the drive control board, plugs 2PL and 4PL on the power board, plug COMP on the terminal board 3TB, and plugs 2PL and 4PL for external devices are all connected to the NTB/3TB.
531X305NTBAPG1 power supply
For external use, NTB/3TB provides the following power outputs:
The regulated voltage is+5 V dc and 15 V dc, each with a current capacity of 300 mA
Unstable DC 24V, 500mA current capacity
120 V ac, 0.5 A current capacity
Encoder interface
NTB/3TB includes a differential A-quad-B encoder interface with labeled channels, which can be used to connect drivers.
On the drive control board, this circuit is optically isolated.
NTB/3TB includes jumpers that allow for interface settings for+5V or 15V encoders.
531X305NTBAPG1 digital control input
NTB/3TB transmits various control inputs to the driver control board. There are a total of 12 universal control inputs (up to 24 V DC) and dedicated digital inputs (such as RESET and CON ON).
Depending on whether positive or negative logic is used, hardware jumpers are used to bias disconnected inputs to+24 or -24 V dc.
Other functions
After installation, this card allows you to access various interface tools that are not included in the drive. Serial and relay outputs, low-level analog I/O, encoders, and power supplies are all application examples. After installing the NTB/3TB terminal board, it can provide both regulated and non regulated power supply.
The main driver can be powered by a regulated power supply with rated voltages of 5 VDC and 15 VDC, as well as an uncontrolled power supply with rated voltages of 24 VDC or 120 VAC. Users can configure various circuit board settings to meet their individual load requirements. The jumper on the circuit board can be used to change the 5V and 15V encoders.
The board also includes a total of seven A-type and C-type relay outputs. All integrated relays include contacts with a rated voltage of 120 VAC. The card also includes four potentiometers for scaling low-level analog I/O.
