CPC-II 10 bar, Zone 2, Simplex, Enhanced Dynamic Version, HTC (Current Pressure Converter, Second Generation) is an electro-hydraulic pressure regulating valve controller designed to position a single acting steam turbine valve servo device. This CPC has excellent accuracy and resolution, making it ideal for steam turbine valve control and related turbine speed and load control.

Woodward’s second-generation current pressure converter (CPC-II) 10 bar, Zone 2, HTC simplex version has enhanced dynamic performance and is an electro-hydraulic pressure regulating control valve used to position the servo/actuator of a single acting steam turbine valve. CPC-II solves the top reliability issue in the industry, which is oil pollution that affects the normal operation time and performance of equipment.

CPC-II receives a 4-20 mA pressure demand signal and precisely controls the oil pressure to accurately position the single acting steam turbine governor valve. Accurate and stable steam valve control is directly related to improving steam turbine speed and load control, as well as reducing system mechanical wear.
