DS215SLCCG1AZZ01B is a LAN communication board designed by General Electric for their Mark V board series. Local area network (LAN) communications are performed by the isolated and non-isolated circuits found on the board. Drive communications via a local network are executed using this LAN card. Featured on the card are a principle microprocessor as well as system memory space. This board is capable of communicating via DLAN and ARCNET local networks.

The board features a LAN control processor, or LCP, that executes system communications. Network communications to and from the DS215SLCCG1AZZ01B are processed using this LCP. Two EPROM slots serve as onboard storage for the LCP software. Communications between the drive control processor (DCP) and the LCP occur in dedicated RAM memory space. A number of connections are available on the board to allow interfacing with a variety of system features.
