There are also 21 4-character displays and 32 LEDs on the GE EX2000 firmware board DS215UDSAG1AZZ01A.  The GE EX2000 Firmware Board DS215UDSAG1AZZ01A features one 1 80196 microprocessor and several erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) modules. The GE EX2000 Firmware Board DS215UDSAG1AZZ01A also is populated with 21 4-character displays and 32 LEDs. Therefore, the drive may start processing as before replacement, and there will be no further delays on site. A key issue is that the instruction code for replacing the board and the firmware on the EPROM module must be the same as the defectiveboard in order for the board to function properly.  However, transferring the module from the EPROM slot on the old board to the slot on the replacement board is simple. At one end, insert the tool into the gap between the module and the socket. Then, to release the module, lift the tool. Repeat the process on the other end of the module.
