The IS200EBACG2A is a component for the EX2100e Thyristor Control, which is the fourth generation of GE’s state-of-the-art control systems for hydro, gas, or steam industrial turbine control. The IS200EBACG2A functions within the EX2100e and Mark VI as an EX2100 Bridge AC Feedback board. It is one of several boards that is interconnected with the system’s main control processor using HSSL or High-speed serial link communication protocol. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:
IS200EBACG2A is an Exciter Control Bridge AC Feedback Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the EX2100e Series used in GE Excitation Control Systems. The voltage of the exciter PPT ac supply is measured by the EBAC board. Transformers allowing a three-phase voltage measuring are present on this board. In doing so, the control is able to time the SCRs’ gating to the incoming ac line. The EAUX board distributes the voltage circuit outputs to the three controllers, M1, M2, and C. Depending on the power converter’s nominal ac line voltage, two groups of the EBAC board are available. Group G1 is utilized for ac voltages between 701 and 1400 V, while group G2 has utilized for ac voltages up to 700 V.
