The FBM202 thermocouple/mV input interface includes eight thermocouple input channels and an isolated RTD reference junction compensation channel (for terminal temperature detection). Each thermocouple/mV channel accepts standard thermocouples of various temperature ranges, and each channel provides thermocouple burnout detection (amplification). Input is isolated from other channels and ground electricity. This module performs the signal conversion required to connect the electrical input signal from the field sensor to the optional redundant field bus. It executes an analog input application that provides configurable options for integrating time and rate of change limitations
