  Product Description

The 369 motor protection series model of General Electric Multilin is equipped with optional metering functions and 12 RTD inputs, which can protect and control motors and medium-sized motor supporting equipment. 369-HI-RM-0-0 uses technologies such as grounding overcurrent protection and startup suppression to protect the motor and extend system life. Users can use the metering function of this device to track quantities such as voltage, wattage, power factor, fr

equency, and energy. Then users can create setpoints to enable protection functions related to these parameters, thereby increasing the versatility of the system. The relay operates on highly configurable set points that guide the protection function of the system and typically establish system functionality. The Multilin 369-HI-RM-0-0 features a 369 motor settings automatic configurator, making setpoint creation easier than ever before. Users can further modify these settings after automatic configuration, and further specify and refine the settings file. Setpoints can be created, edited, or deleted through the 40 character LCD and keyboard of the relay, or more effectively modified through the EnerVista 369 software program. Computers running EnerVista 369 can be connected to relays through the RS232 port, and software programs provide better display of system indicators and a comprehensive improved user interface.

The optional twelve resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) of this 369-HI-RM-0-0 can evaluate the actual temperature within the system. In this unit, the three wires of each RTD are composed of 100 Ω platinum, 100 Ω nickel, 120 Ω nickel, and 10 Ω copper. As the temperature in the system changes, the RTD will generate a resistance value that can be reliably measured and converted to Fahrenheit temperature.

General Electric 369-HI-RM-0-0 Motor Management Relay Protection and Management What type of motor? How does 369-HI-RM-0-0 adapt to the monitoring and protection functions of each motor?

369-HI-RM-0-0 is a digital relay for motor management in the 369 Multilin series. This series is specifically designed for monitoring and protecting three-phase motors and mechanical systems of motors. 369-HI-RM-0-0 is designed to measure the cooling rate of the motor, as well as the time required to accelerate to full function and the motor surge current value. Then use these three measurement values to provide protection for these three-phase motors. 369-HI-RM-0-0 can be customized for individual motors by using a custom function called FlexCurve (TM) overload curve. If this option is not selected to generate flexible custom curves based on operator estimates, users can choose from up to 15 unique curves to best fit the desired motor.

How many RTDs can 369-HI-RM-0-0 manage at once?

The 369-HI-RM-0-0 GE Multilin motor management relay is designed to independently monitor 12 RTDs. These RTDS can become environmental RTDS, drive device RTDs, or stator RTDS.
