Product Description
IS420UCSCH1A-UCSC is the first quad core controller in the Mark VIe series. This controller is produced by General Electric and is equipped with the QNX Neutrino operating system. When using the QNX Neutrino operating system, the controller can run a highly reliable and high-speed operating system. This controller not only uses the QNX operating system, but also uses EFA (Embedded Field Agent) technology to provide real-time data through stable connectivity applications based on Predix cloud.
Although most controllers used with the Mark VIe series have I/O functionality for use with the device, the IS420UCSCH1A-UCSC controller does not have the ability to host any application I/O. This controller can be used in a redundant set, and when in a redundant set, it will have all connected I/O networks to each controller in the redundant set, which provides input data for the controller.
One of the communication functions of the IS420UCSCH1A-UCSC controller is to communicate with the UDH network; To communicate with the UDH network, a 4 GB flash drive needs to be configured using the ToolboxST application. All the information required to determine the configuration can be found in the GEH-6855 manual. Information about UCSC controllers can be found in Chapter 2 of this manual.
Although most controllers used with the Mark VIe series have I/O functionality for use with devices, the IS420UCSCH1A-UCSC controller does not have the ability to host any application I/O. This controller can be used for redundant groups. When in a redundant group, it connects all additional I/O networks to each controller within the redundant group, providing input data to the controller. When installing the IS420UCSCH1A-UCSC controller, multiple requirements need to be met, some of which require installing the UCSC device directly onto the mounting base, leaving at least approximately four inches of air gap above and below the UCSC, and ensuring that the operating temperature range is approximately one inch at any point on the UCSC controller. Install IS420UCSCH1A-UCSC firmly onto the selected terminal board. Insert the PAIC I/O package directly into the wiring board connector.
Use the stud next to the Ethernet port to mechanically secure the battery pack. The stud is suitable for the installation bracket dedicated to the wiring board. The position of the bracket should ensure that no right angle force is applied to the DC-37 pin connector between the battery pack and the wiring board. During the service life of the product, only one adjustment is required.
Connect one or two Ethernet cables according to the system configuration. This package will be applicable to any port. When using dual connections, the usual practice is to connect ENET1 to the network associated with the R controller. Connect the battery pack to the power supply by inserting the connector on one side of the battery pack. Due to the inherent soft start function of the I/O pack, it can control the influx of current in power applications, so there is no need to disconnect the power supply of the cable before inserting it. Configure I/O packages as needed using the ToolboxST application
The GE Mark VI IS420UCSCH1A-UCSC is a four core controller with 7 RJ-45 ports and is an independent controller that uses application specific control logic, suitable for applications in combined cycle power plants, wind turbines, and steam or gas turbines. The installation and storage parameters provided by the manufacturer for circuit boards and drivers should be reviewed and followed. In addition, please follow these instructions to ensure the normal operation of the entire system.
IS220PAICH2B diagnosis
The I/O package runs the following self diagnostic tests: power on self test, including RAM, flash memory, Ethernet ports, and most processor board hardware; Continuously monitor internal power supply to ensure normal operation. Check the electronic ID information of the terminal board, collection board, and processor board to confirm hardware group matching, and then check whether the application code loaded from flash memory is suitable for the hardware group. Perform hardware limit checks on each analog input based on the preset high and low levels near the end of the operating range. When this limit is reached, a logic signal will be generated and the input will no longer be scanned. L3DIAG xxxx refers to the logical signal of the entire board. Perform system limit checks on each input based on configurable high and low levels. These limitations can be used to generate alarms, enable/disable devices, and act as latching/non latching switches. RESET SYS clear out of bounds. Each scan of analog input hardware includes a precise reference voltage. Compare the measured values with the expected values to confirm the health of the analog-to-digital converter circuit. A small load resistor is used to detect the analog output current on the terminal board. The I/O component adjusts this signal and compares it with the instruction current to ensure that the digital to analog converter circuit is in good working condition.
The analog output suicide relay continuously checks the consistency between command status and feedback indication. The ToolboxST application provides information about individual diagnostics. Each diagnostic signal can be latched and then reset using the RESET DIA signal when they become healthy. One of the communication with the IS420UCSCH1A-UCSC controller is with the UDH network; To communicate with the UDH network, a 4 GB flash drive needs to be configured using the ToolboxST application. All the information required to determine the configuration can be found in the GEH-6855 manual. Information about the UCSC controller can be found in Chapter 2 of the manual.
