  GE Fanuc/Emerson Automation IC698ETM001 is a PACSystem RX7i Ethernet interface module. This module has high-performance Ethernet functionality. This module has two (2) Ethernet communication ports, supports 10/100 Mbps communication rate and has automatic sensing function, as well as one (1) serial communication port used as the station manager port.   About IC698ETM001

IC698ETM001 is an Ethernet interface module manufactured by Emerson Automation (formerly GE Fanuc Automation). This module is part of the PACSystem RX7i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) platform, allowing any rack equipped with the IC698ETM001 module to connect to existing Ethernet for data exchange, remote I/O implementation, and communication with visualization systems and third-party software and tools (such as databases and enterprise software applications) within the same network.IC698PSA350D(2)

IC698ETM001 has two (2) Ethernet ports, capable of transmitting data at 10/100 Mbps communication speed, and has automatic sensing function. These ports are designed to use RJ45 connectors and a minimum of CAT5 cables for physical connections. These ports support daisy chain, allowing for linear, star, and ring topologies, and support unique or redundant IP addressing. In addition, it also has one (1) serial communication port, a 9-pin Sub-D connector, supporting transmission speeds of 1200-115200 bps. This port is essentially a station manager port used for configuring modules.

IC698ETM001 supports multiple communication protocols, such as TCP/IP communication services using Service Request Transfer Protocol (SRTP), SRTP clients, MODBUS TCP servers, and MODBUS TCP clients. In addition, this module supports time synchronization with SNTP time servers on the Ethernet.

IC698ETM001 is equipped with various LED indicator lights to provide an overview of the current status of the module. These LEDs are module normal, LAN online, status, 100, LINK P1 and 100, LINK P2. This module is equipped with a dedicated microprocessor, giving it processing power at a speed of 200 MHz.
