The GE Fanuc IC697CPX928 is a Series 90-70 Central Processing Unit (CPU) module. This CPU has 6MB battery-backed memory, and 256KB non-volatile user flash memory, processor speed of 96MHz with typical scan rate of 0.4 µs per Boolean function. This processor has One (1) RS232 serial port, Two (2) RS485 Serial port and One (1) Factory Reset port.  The IC697CPX928 is a Programmable Logic Controller manufactured by GE Automation and Controls. It is designed to fit into a single rack slot and comes with three built-in serial ports. A backplane mounted on the rack allows this device to communicate with several different modules.
