Product Description
The analog I/O package IS420YAICS1B is part of the Mark VIe series produced by General Electric. This I/O pack can be connected between up to two Ethernet and terminal analog I/O boards. This kit can handle up to 10 analog inputs, two of which can be configured as ± 1 mA or 4-20 mA current inputs, and the remaining 8 as ± 5 V or ± 10 V inputs or 4-20 mA current loop inputs. This package can send and receive data through dual RJ45 Ethernet connectors.
Although the various units in the Mark VIe series can be used for dual, TMR, or simplex redundant applications, the IS420YAICS1B I/O package can only be used for TMR or simplex applications. Please note that when using this package in TMR redundancy, in simplex redundant applications, three I/O packages will be used instead of only one. Another important note is that all I/O packages in the TMR set must use the same hardware form. There is another version of the YAIC I/O package, labeled as IS420YAICS1A package. Please note that these package versions cannot be mixed and used on the same T-terminal board.
The I/O package module is very reliable, so it is not easily damaged. However, improper handling and poor storage may affect the functionality of the module, so we recommend storing the module in an electrostatic sensitive storage box under recommended conditions.

The IS420YAICS1B I/O package can perform multiple self diagnostic tests, some of which are power on self tests that will check for flash and RAM memory, most processor board hardware, and Ethernet ports on the package. This package can also continuously monitor internal power supply to ensure correct operation.
