16-Bit Data Acquisition Module – for SCXI—The SCXI‑1600 is a full-featured data acquisition and control module for SCXI analog input, analog output, digital I/O, and switch modules. The SCXI‑1600 can be installed in an SCXI chassis and provides external digital trigger, clock, and calibration connections for all modules in the chassis. With the SCXI‑1600, any SCXI chassis can be converted into a plug-in data acquisition system. PXI systems provide high-performance modular instruments and rich I/O with dedicated synchronization functions and key software functions for test and measurement applications ranging from equipment verification to automated production test. National Instruments is the leader in the PXI industry, offering a broad range of industry-leading products and services.Terms and Definitions User Accessible Allows the user to directly write or modify the contents of the memory during normal instrument operation. System Accessible Does not allow the user to access or modify the memory during normal instrument operation. However, system accessible memory may be accessed or modified by background processes. This can be something that is not deliberate by the user and can be a background driver implementation, such as storing application information in RAM to increase speed of use. 1 Calibration constants that are stored in device EEPROMs include information for the device’s full operating range. The utilities required to clear the memory are not distributed by National Instruments to customers for normal use.
