VMIVME-2170A

This unit is part of the General Electric Fanuc Automation VMIC series of digital converters, input and output units, and other circuit boards. This unit is specifically listed as VMIVME-2170A and is a model of digital output board. The board is equipped with a set of optocouplers. Many of the features included in the module framework include 32 optically isolated outputs, outputs ranging from 2.5 to up to 300 mA, and field configurable pull-up resistors. These models are available from AX Control and have been used before, but have been comprehensively refurbished and optimized to operate within today’s industry standard range. The VME-2170A optocoupler digital output board consists of VMEbus compatible logic, data control logic, 4 8-bit output registers, and 32 optoisolated high-level outputs. This board adopts a dual Eurocard form factor PC board, providing all necessary address decoding and data transmission control logic to accept 8-bit and 16-bit data transmission.
