Function Description
5464-643 is a discrete input module developed by Woodward. On site switches and relays provide data to the module. The field wiring in each channel is isolated from the MicroNet circuit through an optical isolator, and the status of each discrete input is transmitted to the buffer through the optical isolator. Then the CPU obtains data for each channel through the VME interface. If the fault LED of all 48 DI modules in the chassis lights up during normal control operation, please check if there is a fault in the CPU module of the chassis.https://www.weikunfadacai1.com/

These modules are inserted into the card rails of the controller chassis and connected to the motherboard. Two screws (one at the top of the front panel and one at the bottom of the front panel) secure the module in place. There are also two handles at the top and bottom of the module, which, when moved (pushed outward), will move the module far enough to detach the motherboard from the motherboard connector.
Each 48 Ch DI module is connected to two 24 Vdc discrete input/output FTMs or discrete input (with LED) FTMs through two low-density discrete cables. FTM provides access to all I/O on the module, and channels are sequentially marked to correspond to their software positions (for example, discrete input 1 on FTM will be discrete input 1 in the application software). Connect to FTM processing channels 1-24 of J1, and connect to FTM processing channels 25-48 of J2.
