  Product Description

This device is one of several models in the Woodward DSLC device. 9905-373 can be obtained from our second-hand industrial hardware inventory at AX Control Inc. These DSLC models are specifically designed for digital synchronization and load sensing and control. The additional functions included in these units are process control, VAF/PF control, and dead bus system shutdown. This product series is designed as a versatile, efficient, and effective generator control unit.

The 9905-373 model can be installed in any AC three-phase generator with similar control settings. This model aims to provide options for automatic slip frequency synchronization and phase matching. This unit operates control capabilities through its own network (Local Operating Network (LON)) to achieve secure dead bus closure. It connects itself with the automatic voltage regulator of the generator to accurately match the voltage level before parallel connection.

9905-373 aims to detect the RMS power of the generator to provide efficient loading and unloading functions. It can also provide basic loads or set import/export processing power levels for generators, and distribute and share loads on isolated multi engine systems.

The standard Woodward specifications of the DSLC series are also applicable to this model. It requires a safe operating environment with a temperature range of -40 to 70 C, or -40 to 158 F. DSLC digital synchronizer and load control, speed offset 500 Hz PWM, 120V voltage input, open Delta PT configuration features: • Synchronizer and load control in one box • Generator automatic loading and unloading, Used for undisturbed load transmission • Synchronized load sharing with other units equipped with DSLC • Process input/output control • VAR or power factor control • Dead bus closure • Accurate control of nonlinear and distorted generator waveforms • Information exchange network between digital communication control devices • Programmable load switch or reverse power trip output • UL and cUL listed advantages: • Reduced wiring between synchronizers, Load control and automatic load control • Integrate functions into one box without the need for redundant sensors (such as PT, CT, and MOP) connected to individual modules (such as load sensors and synchronizers) • Handheld programmers allow users to set controls before starting the system, thereby reducing installation and calibration time • Handheld programmers allow operators to monitor generator parameters Contact switches and analog I/O for installation and troubleshooting • Reduce required cabinet space • No additional relay logic or PLC required to control dead bus closure • Digital communication on LON reduces noise susceptibility on load sharing lines • Sliding frequency parallel connection, voltage matching, and smooth parallel transmission of speed deviation between synchronous devices and load control, No risk of reverse power tripping • Three phase true RMS power sensing enables accurate DSLC control, even in the presence of unbalanced phase loads and voltage fluctuations
